Feedback Call Line
To provide the best service possible, we invite you to report positive experiences or problems with regulations, environmental permits or DNR staff by calling 608-266-0158 weekdays 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Our goal is to collect feedback and follow up on the information you provide.
- This is not a toll-free number.
- A customer service representative at our Central Office in Madison will answer your call. If they are helping another customer, please leave a message for a return call.
- You will be asked to provide your name, address and specific information such as the date, location, and a detailed description of your call topic. Most information received from the feedback line by the Department of Natural Resources is considered Public Record and is available to the public for review or copying.
- Notice: You are strongly urged to submit a complaint about a credentialed employee (Warden, Park Rangerwardens, Forest Ranger) in writing with a signature. Consistent with s.66.0511, Wisconsin Statutes, the Department is not required to process either verbal or anonymous complaints against its law enforcement officers. Anyone making a false accusation against Law enforcement may be subject to a Class A forfeiture, with a penalty of up to $10,000.
We appreciate hearing from our customers. Thank you.
