2007 Air Emission Inventory and Hazardous Waste Internet Reporting

Reporting Information

• If you have not obtained a Web Access Management System (WAMS) ID or reporting authorization for air emission inventory reporting, you will need to complete the two step process for the DNR Switchboard.
• If you expected to report for a facility or a report authorization and did not see it when you logged on, then you need to send an email message to Ralph.Patterson@Wisconsin.gov for air emissions or the hazardous waste program at
• Step by Step Instructions on how to begin either air emission inventory or hazardous waste reporting.
• If you have no reporting roles, we set up a dummy facility where you can see how ARS or HWRS works.

Important Dates

• Friday, January 11, 2008-Email notification sent to all 2007 air emission inventory and/or hazardous waste reporters
• Thursday, January 17, 2008- 10:00 a.m. -DNR webinar where both the Air Reporting System (ARS) and Hazardous Waste Reporting System were demonstrated. You can view on-demand videos soon.
• Monday, March 3, 2008-Air Emission Inventory and Hazardous Waste Reporting Deadline.
• Monday, March 17, 2008-Air Emission Inventory deadline for those facilities that received a time extension from their regional compliance person.
• Friday, April 18, 2008-Preliminary air emission summaries emailed out to reporting companies for checking calculations.
• Friday, May 23, 2008-Final air emission summaries emailed to companies. At that time, most companies will be asked to certify their emissions by signing an attached certification form.
• Monday, June 30, 2008-Air emission fees and signed certifications due to DNR.
