Limited Term EmploymentLimited Term Employment (LTE) openings with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are located throughout Wisconsin. LTE jobs are temporary and you do not need to take a civil service examination. Limited term jobs vary in length but will not exceed more than 1,043 hours of work within a twelve-month period. If you accept a position with the Department of Natural Resources, you will be paid by means of an electronic funds transfer into an account at a financial institution of your choice, unless to do so would cause an undue hardship. LTE Residency RequirementsPer Wisconsin Statutes 260.16(1), 6.10(1) and 6.02 to 6.15, an applicant for limited term employment must be a Wisconsin resident at the time of hire.
