- Component Manufacturing: Wisconsin's Future in the Renewable Energy Industry [PDF exit DNR]
Renewable Energy Policy Project, January 2006
It is clear from earlier Reports undertaken by the Renewable Energy Policy Project that many of the states and regions that have suffered the greatest loss of manufacturing jobs have a significant concentration of manufacturing potential to supply renewable energy manufactured components. This potential is little understood even by those closest to it and who stand to benefit the most from it. The REPP State Reports intend to provide an explanation of how this manufacturing potential is calculated and offer detailed analysis showing for a state, region, and county the potential for each of the 43 industrial codes that comprise the major component parts for the major renewable energy technologies.
