This is a brief web page to display data we are collecting on the locations of recently stocking lake sturgeon. These sturgeon were stocked on October 6 2007 just below the Thiensville Dam. In 2007, we are using sonic tags in the lake sturgeon coupled with hydrophone receivers located throughout the Milwaukee River. For more information, read about the sonic tags by Vemco (exit DNR).
