Take Smokey Camping!
While visiting your State Park or State Forest, check out our "Take Smokey Camping" program! Kids ages 5-12 can take Smokey Bear home or camping for the night and learn all about the importance of fire safety, not playing with matches, and what to do in the event of a fire. Children will have the opportunity to spend the night with Smokey and his backpack, read "The True Story of Smokey Bear", and write in Smokey's diary all the things learned during Smokey's visit.
