1999 - 2001 Forestry BMP Monitoring Summary

In 1999, we started a new monitoring program in the Kickapoo River Watershed (parts of Crawford, Monroe, Richland and Vernon counties). Monitoring in this watershed was conducted through a Clean Water Action Grant from the US Forest Service, and continued through 2001.

In the fall of 2000, monitoring was conducted throughout the driftless area (Buffalo, Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Jackson, LaCrosse, Monroe, Richland, Sauk, Trempealeau, Vernon), in addition to the work in the Kickapoo River Watershed.

In the fall of 2001, the final round of monitoring was completed in the Kickapoo River Watershed.
