Regional Concerns

Wisconsin has very diverse landscapes - from the rivers and coulees in southwest Wisconsin to the trout streams and bluffs along Lake Superior. Best Management Practices (BMPs) have been developed to help protect water quality of lakes, streams and wetlands across Wisconsin. In some regions of the state, other resource considerations may be needed in addition to BMPs to meet a landowner's management objectives.
