Environmental Quality Incentives Program - EQIP
- Federal Program administered by the NRCS with NRCS and DNR Forestry as technical agencies
- Up to 75 % cost share - At least 65 % of dollars allocated to priority areas, remainder available statewide. (5 or 10 year contracts)
- Maximum cost shares set by Federal Government currently $10,000 annually; $50,000 per contract.

- planting stock

- Ecosystem Management
- fisheries
- prescribed burning
- upland wildlife habitat
- brush management
- Erosion Control

- diversions
- waterways
- windbreaks

- Agricultural Waste Management
- Stream Buffers
Note: Within priority areas, local work group determines practices available and cost share rates.
