Firewood - 50 Mile Radius Maps

DNR has developed a permanent rule [PDF 11KB] that prohibits visitors from bringing firewood into Wisconsin State Parks and onto other state-managed lands from out of state or from locations farther than 50 miles away from the property.

To help with trip planning, this series of maps is available showing the 50-mile radius around each state property.

NOTE: Hardwood firewood may not leave emerald ash borer quarantined areas to enter non-quarantined areas, according to state law.

Currently, the quarantined area includes Brown, Crawford, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Vernon and Washington counties. The maps below will be updated to reflect the quarantines as soon as possible.
