This map was originally presented in the Wisconsin DNR Handbook entitled "Ecological Landscapes of Wisconsin."

Due to scale and processing limitations, some state, MFL, FCL, and other parcels depicted on the map are shown as full 40 acres. In reality, actual acreage amounts may be much smaller. Also to be noted are that any land interest, ownership, or easement parcels, excluding federal lands, that can be described as government lots, are not depicted on this map. Not all areas depicted on this map indicate ownership, but may represent easements or other designations.
