2009 DNR Land Information, Integration & Modernization Survey (LIIMS)

Section 16.967(b) of Wisconsin Statutes requires the Department of Natural Resources and other major state agencies to provide information regarding agency land information integration and modernization activities to the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA). In previous years these Plans followed a standard document format. For 2009 the State Geographic Information Officer (GIO) at DOA restructured the reporting format utilizing a Web survey named "Land Information and Modernization Survey" (LIIMS). Successful completion of LIIMS fulfills the DNR's statutory reporting requirement, and helps support the GIO's long-term goal of demonstrating return on geospatial investments.
