Update

The Black River State Forest received 55 public comments on the Master Plan Alternative and Options document during the official 30-day comment period from April 1 - 30, 2008. There were 39 respondents on recreation facilities management, 23 comments regarding land management, 20 remarks associated with boundary expansion and an additional 22 viewpoints expressed on other topics. Comments are currently being reviewed and assessed by the planning team to evaluate what proposals may need to be revised prior to writing the draft master plan.
