Wisconsin Statutes require annual licenses for facilities that treat, store or dispose of solid waste. The issuance of these licenses is routine, largely automated and does not require a completeness determination. The timing of the issuance is based on when the license for the previous year expires rather than when the applications are received.
Issue the new licenses before current licenses expire.
For the first quarter of 2004, the goal of issuing licenses in a timely manner was achieved for all licenses issued.
