"32 inches of biting fun!"By: Shane This is a true story: I wanted to share a story that happened to my nephew, Shane, over the weekend. He was at their cottage in northern WI. He was near the water's edge with their chocolate lab (Dodge). Dodge decided to get a drink of water from the water's edge. Shane said there was a huge splash and he immediately looked. A musky tore up the water and bit his dog Dodge in the nose. He checked the dog, who was ok, then proceeded to yell for his mom. His mom brought him his musky rod. After a cast into the target area where the musky had just bit the dog, he got a strike. He caught the same fish that just bit his dog. It was 32 inches. He released it after a couple pictures. Of course Dodge just paces by the water's edge now, unsure if the water is still safe. Thanks, Shane! We'll try to keep our dogs away from muskies! |
