DPI/DNR Partnership

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction have combined forces in order to develop, direct, and promote the continued growth of the Green and Healthy Schools program. The Green and Healthy School program benefits immensely from this partnership because schools are able to take advantage of the unique resources and expertise offered by each agency.

The goal and purpose of our partnership is to aid teachers, students, staff, and parents in implementing green and healthy practices in their schools. Therefore, the Green and Healthy School management team consists of members from each agency who work collectively in order to meet the needs of the program and to provide schools with environmental, health, and safety resources on one easy to use website.
