Stewardship is for Everyone Stewardship Grants |
Property Development on State LandsEight million dollars is available each year for developing and improving recreational facilities on state lands. The DNR maintains a substantial number of structures, including approximately 3,100 buildings. Stewardship is an important source of funding for additions and improvements to these holdings. Typical development projects include facility repair, toilet and shower buildings, dam repair, sewage treatment facilities, park visitor stations, and picnic shelters. $250,000 is set aside for grants to Friends groups and NCOs for development projects and habitat restoration. For additional information of this grant program, see Grant Guidelines for Friends Groups. Last Revised: Wednesday March 23 2011
