With over 300 hundred folks in attendance and 50 children getting free fishing poles, neither he or Iron County Conservation Warden John Windt John saw one disappointed person. This was a very positive event and I was very impressed" says Wunrow. Wunrow complimented Windt's community wardening work with the Snowbelt Longbeard Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, "it's really has paid off" he said. Wunrow added that Windt has been able to do things our Department could not afford to do, both in terms of manpower and funding.

Editor's note: Community wardening events such as the one wardens Wunrow and Windt were involved with are just one of ways wardens keep in touch with the communities and people they serve.
