Environmental Contaminants Research

Environmental contaminants research provides the DNR with a research function to assist resource managers throughout the state. The research supports environmental contaminant problems facing DNR managers. The staff scientists maintain a strong affiliation with the University of Wisconsin System. The majority of the research projects are funded through a competitive grant process on a national basis.
