As UW-Extension educators, you supply technical expertise in planning and decision-making processes in response to community needs. You play an important role in increasing public understanding of the impacts of development, alternative ways of managing growth, and in building consensus regarding land use solutions.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is sponsoring intensive two-day workshops to give Extension educators hands-on training with computer tools for planning, conservation, and environmental protection. Participants will learn about the different types of computer tools, gain direct experience using specific tools, and enhance their ability to use the tools in educational programming.
