The purpose of this chapter is to establish a program for the certification and registration of laboratories doing testing under s. 299.11, Stats. Certification or registration by the state of Wisconsin under this chapter is not an endorsement or guarantee of the validity of the data generated.

Dates printed in bold-faced type in the table are firm dates; dates printed in italicized type in the table are projected dates, subject to change.

When a rule becomes available for public distribution, hyperlinks to the rule and related documents will appear in the first column. "Pink Sheet" refers to the Rule Agenda/Board Action Checklist (commonly called the "pink sheet" by DNR staff) which the Department Secretary uses to grant approval for rule drafting to begin and to the transmittal memo used when the pink sheet is sent to the Natural Resources Board. Following Secretary approval, information from these documents is published in the Scope statements section of the Wisconsin Administrative Register.
