Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
Guide to NR149 Revisions

Significant changes were made to chapter NR149 of Wisconsin's'Administrative Code, but significant changes were required for a code that hadn't been updated in over 10 years. The table below represents an attempt to highlight where changes that are of particular note for the regulated laboratory community have been made. If no links are provided under "Significant Changes" for a given section, it does not mean that any changes were not made to code language in that section---but rather that changes made don't represent significant changes to program policy.

Use the links below to jump to a specific section of the code, or just navigate from the full table.

DISCLAIMER: This page and other linked pages contain "unofficial" text of ch. NR149, Wisconsin Administrative Code, created for the sole purpose of assisting laboratories in compliance with the revisions to NR149 associated with 2007 ammendments.   The official (legal) rule will be available via the Wisconsin Legislature online data (exit DNR) after May 15, 2008.
