Tracks Mistaken for Cougar
Tracks suspected of cougar because only 4 toes are visible and claws are not visible. But the straight arrangement of the toes along the top off a very broad heel pad is typical of that of a bear. The 5th toe and claws did not register on the track, but the toe arrangement and heel pad shape are typical for bears.
