Bureau of Facilities & Lands — Land Management

The Land Management section is responsible for management policies that affect all Department properties, as well as management of a variety of water-based properties (such as State Flowages, the Lower Wisconsin State Riverway, Fishery Areas, and Motor Boat Access Sites).

The section is also responsible for planning Department property purposes, including the Feasibility studies to create new properties, Property Master Plans, and Site Plans for development of projects.

Lastly, the section coordinates the Stewardship Program and provides technical advice to local communities on river management projects funded by Stewardship Grants.
