July 4 ReminderIt is illegal to set off fireworks in Wisconsin state parks and forests. Sparklers are OK to use but anything that goes "boom," is self propelled, or has flames coming out is considered illegal. Many communities near the parks and forests have public fireworks displays.

Early June storms and flooding damaged a number of Wisconsin state parks and trails. Most are open for business, but some areas and facilities remain closed. We will continue to update our conditions pages as information is available.
