Whitefish Dunes State Park
What About Wetlands?
Wetlands play many important roles in our environment. In this activity,
students will use various tools to investigate a wetland and discover
its animal and plant inhabitants. They will examine wetland functions
and the causes and effects of destroying wetlands. Students will discuss
actions that their communities are able to initiate.
