Willow River State Park
Habitats

At Willow River State Park, students will learn how animals interact with each other in their habitats. They will create a habitat and see how humans affect these habitats and how we can help wildlife. Students will be introduced to the major habitats at Willow River State Park and the importance of each habitat.

Special instructions

While one group is in the classroom, other groups can be in the nature center, playing games, and taking hikes.

A teaching unit with two pretrip and two post trip activities is available upon request.
