Council Grounds State Park Conditions

Conditions as of Monday, November 9, 2009:

Trails: Please remember that all trails in the park are hiking trails only. Bikes must remain on paved surfaces.

Camping: The family and group campgrounds are closed for the season. Sites can be reserved 11 months in advance online or by calling (888) 947-2757.

River: The docks at the boat landing have been removed for the season.

Events: The Friends of Council Grounds State Park will have a wood cutting day on Saturday, November 14. Anyone interested in helping should call (715) 536-8773.

Admission stickers are required on all vehicles year round. You can self-register at the flag pole or by going to the winter office in the shop area of the park. Annual stickers for 2009 are valid through December 31, 2009.
