Sugar River State Trail Conditions

Conditions as of Tuesday, October 20, 2009:

The trail is open for walking and bicycling. We request that the trail not be used by bicyclists or pedestrians whenever the surface is soft enough to leave ruts and tracks.

For the most up to date conditions please call the Green County Trail Information Line, (608) 527-2910.

Pet owners, please be sure to have your pet on a leash, 8 feet or shorter, at all times. You must pick up after your pet. Horses and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are not allowed on the Sugar River Trail corridor.

State trail passes are required for bicyclists 16 years and older. Passes may be purchased at self-registration boxes along the trail, at local vendors, or online.
