Conditions at Pike Lake

Conditions as of Sunday, October 25, 2009:

Fall color is past its peak, but it's still a great time to enjoy a fall hike! 

Trails: All trails are open to hiking and in good condition. The accessible trail pier has been removed for the year.  

Camping: The campground is closed for the season. It will reopen April 23, 2010. Reserve a site for dates to 11 months in advance by calling (888) 947-2757, TTY (800) 274-7275 or using the Web.

Facilities: The forest office is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Either the office or beach contact station will be open most Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend hours will vary. The north toilet building at the beach/picnic area is closed for the season, but the main beach toilet building will remain open for a couple more weeks.   A portable toilet is available at the nature trail parking lot year-round.  

Beach: Swim area buoys have been removed for the year.
