High Cliff State Park
Reservable Shelters

Three open-air shelters and an enclosed pavilion are available at High Cliff State Park. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance. Stop in or call the park office, (920) 989-1106, to determine shelter availability. Park staff will hold a date for up to 7 days without payment. A confirmation will be returned upon receipt of payment and completed shelter application form [PDF].

Park Pavilion

The Pavilion (47 x 47 feet and 27 x 15 feet) is located in the upper park. The Pavilion is an enclosed shelter and accommodates up to 100 people. This shelter is next to the Upper Shelter, overlooks Lake Winnebago and within walking distance of the observation tower. The Pavilion is available May through September, and Fridays/Saturdays in October. Off-season rentals are available – call park office for details. The Pavilion features a centrally located fireplace (provide your own firewood*). Note: The fireplace is the only heat available. The Pavilion does not have kitchen facilities. Cooking over the fire is not allowed.

The reservable Pavilion is great for reunions, weddings, and company picnics.

Upper Shelter

The Upper Shelter (80 x 24 feet) is located in the upper park. The Upper Shelter is an open shelter and accommodates up to 130 people. This shelter is next to the Pavilion, overlooks Lake Winnebago and is within walking distance of observation tower. The Upper Shelter is available May through September, and Fridays/Saturdays in October. Off-season rentals are available – call park office for details.

Lower Shelter

The Lower Shelter (28 x 28 feet) is located in the lower park. The Lower Shelter is an open shelter with electrical hook-up and accommodates up to 35 people. This shelter overlooks the Marina and is within walking distance of the beach. The Lower Shelter is available May through September.

Pine Shelter

The Pines Shelter (26 x 38 feet ) is located in the lower park. The Pines Shelter is an open shelter and accommodates up to 50 people. This shelter is tucked amongst the pines and is within walking distance of the beach. The Pines Shelter is available May through September.
