Friends of Kohler-Andrae
An Invitation to Membership
The Friends of Kohler-Andrae Association [exit DNR] is a non-profit
support organization of interested persons from all backgrounds dedicated
to furthering the interpretive, educational, and visitor service programs
of the park.
Kohler-Andrae State Park has a long history of citizen support beginning in 1928 with
the donation of property to create Terry Andrae State Park, and again
in 1966 with a second donation creating J.M. Kohler State Park. The two
parks now total almost 1,000 acres, and the
Department of Natural Resources manages them as one park. The Friends of Kohler-Andrae, established
in 1987, continues this historical and vital link, joining private and
state efforts toward a common goal.
