Kettle Moraine State Forest--Northern Unit
Picnic Shelter Rentals

Kettle Moraine North has picnic tables and grills at a number of recreation and trail areas. All areas, except the campgrounds, have adopted the carry in, carry out policy.

Four areas have shelters that can be reserved for group activities by phone or by mailing a form [PDF 161KB] to the forest headquarters:

Mauthe Lake, $100 a day, (262) 626-4305

New Fane, $40 a day, (262) 626-2116 (open-sided, no electric outlets - picture coming soon!)

The enclosed Mauthe Lake Shelter accommodates 50 people and has a fireplace and electricity.

The open-sided Long Lake Shelter accommodates 50 people and has electric outlets.
