Volunteer Nature Center HostsNature center hosts primarily serve as a nature center host during building hours: greeting visitors, answering questions and orienting visitors to the property. With approval of the property supervisor, hosts may be eligible for a free campsite during the duration of there service. As a representative of the Department of Natural Resources, a host:
Nature center hosts are selected based on interests and familiarity with the park system, customer service experience, interpretive experience and natural/cultural history knowledge of the surrounding area.
