Volunteer Positions

Conservationist

  • Maintain building and grounds
  • Restore wildlife habitat

Friends Group Member

Note: There is a $15 membership fee

  • Assist with special events
  • Assist with fundraisers

Naturalist

  • Assist with interpretive programs
  • Assist with environmental education programs

Nature Center Host

  • Greet visitors

Project Volunteer

Visitor Services Volunteer

  • Provide visitor information
  • Provide assistance to park office

Adopt-a-Trail

  • Remove litter and debris along trails
  • Report trail conditions

Adopt-a-Trail Notes:

  • A $20 fee will be collected to cover the costs of producing and posting the volunteer trailhead or bulletin board sign.
  • Sponsors must participate in at least three activity days per year and must participate in the program for at least two years.

Campground Host

  • Assist campers
