Day-Use and School Tour ProgramsDay-use educational tours are popular amongst area school districts. The Sandhill Outdoor Skills Center provides a variety of wildlife-related educational opportunities, and these can be tailored to suite the educational goals of classroom teachers. Contact Sandhill for a Day-Use Registration form for ideas of topics that are typically offered. Many groups arrive around 9am and depart around 1:30 pm, leaving about four hours of learning time. Preferred group size is less than 30. Staff will accept groups of up to 50, but teachers will be expected to assist in teaching rotational units. School tour programs are offered:
