The spring turkey regulations pamphlet incorrectly states the bag limit during the spring youth hunt. In the regs it states the bag limit is "one turkey per permit", when the law that creates this season states "only one male or bearded turkey may be killed." Hunters should make note of this important change.
- Turkey Regulations (Fall) (PDF, 321KB)
The fall turkey regulations pamphlet does not include information on a new rule allowing the use of dogs to hunt wild turkey. Effective October 1, 2007, hunters with a valid turkey permit and license may use dogs to hunt wild turkey IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES ONLY: Crawford, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Sauk, Vernon, and Wood Counties. Hunters should take note of this important change.
