Portions of the Great River State Trail are open to hunting unless closed by City and County ordinance (i.e. city and village limits relative to firearms and hunting restrictions). The areas open for hunting include Midway to Trempealeau and Lehmen Road to the Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge.
