CWD Registration and Sampling Station Photos

At CWD registration and sampling stations, DNR staff register and tag deer; collect deer heads for CWD sampling; distribute additional carcass tags; and collect data including hunter information, deer harvest location, sex and age. When stations aren’t too busy, staff may also remove lymph nodes to decrease backlog at the Black Earth Processing Center, where deer heads are sent for lymph node extraction.
