Dane County SSA Program Submittal Procedures, Effective November 12, 2004
On October 1, 2004, the Dane County Regional Planning Commission (DCRPC) was officially dissolved. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources subsequently became responsible for Sewer Service Area (SSA) Plan reviews in Dane County.
As of November 12, 2004, the WDNR has established a contract with the Community Analysis and Planning Division (CAPD) of the Dane County Department of Planning and Development. The new CAPD is staffed by most of the former DCRPC employees.
Procedures for Sewer Service Area amendment requests and related activities will now generally revert to the procedures previously employed by DCRPC, except that the Dane County Community Analysis and Planning Division should be contacted instead of the former DCRPC.
