Emergency Response

In case of emergency, such as dam failure, or to report public concern for dam safety, please use the following numbers to contact the proper authorities:

• Contact the dam owner if contact information is available.
• Contact local emergency government - in many cases, this can be done by dialing 911 (only in an emergency).
• Contact the State Warning Center at 1-800-943-0003, Press 1 and ask for the DNR Duty Officer.
