NR 216 with EPA Phase II Revisions
To meet the requirements of EPA's Storm Water Phase II Final Rule, the Wisconsin DNR drafted revisions to ch. NR 216, Wis. Adm. Code. NR 216 revisions amend an existing rule that outlines requirements for storm water discharge permits for municipal separate storm sewer systems, industrial facilities and construction sites.
In February 2004, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) considered the proposed NR 216 revisions for final adoption and approved them. This proposed rule became effective in August 2004.
